Mensuration - "A volume filled with confusing areas"
In class 10, I was worried about one chapter in Maths – “Surface Area and Volume”. Even though the whole chapter was just a bunch of formulas and I had been studying similar chapters in lower classes, I still was confused on which formula to apply for a particular situation. Since all the problems asked from this chapter were word problems, I felt that it was tough to ascertain which information was really required to solve the question and which were just given to derail me. One of the key parts of the chapter, were the water-flow sums. Undoubtedly, it was the most difficult type of sums I encountered while studying. I remember practicing this type of sums, right before the exam, so that I wouldn’t make a mistake in the boards. As I suspected, I got a water-flow based problem in my paper.
